SQ11 Mini Camera Setup

We can start the SQ11 Mini camera setup by charging the camera. Connect your camera with a lithium-ion battery to a computer via USB cable. While the charging process is in progress, both blue and red lights are flashing. When the charge is fully charged, the blue light is steady and the red light is off.

If the camera is in use and the memory card is inserted, it will save the last image 5 seconds before it runs out of charge and turns off. If the memory card is not inserted, then the led lights will flash 5 seconds beforehand and your device will turn off. If your SQ11 camera is in standby mode, it will turn itself off within 1 minute to conserve its charge.

When you connect the camera to your computer with the USB cable, you will see 3 files there. These files are;

TIMEREST

Open this third folder with a text editor. The clock and time information appearing on the video are adjusted from this document. You can set your own time according to the local time of your place of residence. You can use the letters Y and N to set it or turn it off.

Using the SQ11 Mini camera

First of all, we turn it on by pressing the power button of the camera. There is a section called “MODES” on the main screen, you can select the mode you want to use by touching that screen. These modes are Video Capture and Photograph. First, we choose the mode. Let’s say you have selected the photo mode, the camera takes a picture when you press the power button while in use. When you select the video mode, press the power button for video recording. It automatically records the videos taken every 5 minutes.

Note 1: To put the device in night mode, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds, the red light will flash and the night mode will work.

Note 2: Press the power button for 6 seconds to turn off the device.

SQ11 Camera Motion Detection

If you want to use the motion detection feature of your device, first go to the modes section. Pressing this button for 3 seconds will turn on motion detection. When the camera detects any movement, it records for 1 minute periods.

Note: You can use your SQ11 camera with JXLCAM APP. You can carry the device with you by connecting it to your mobile phone’s wifi network. The wifi area takes a maximum of 10 meters.

To register, you open the application and say “add device” and give the necessary permissions. You can use your application by entering your e-mail address, phone number and location information. If you want, you can use your camera in local mode without a wireless connection.

SQ11 Mini DV Camera Troubleshooting

For normal use, there is not much problem to be experienced with the camera. Since it is a mini camera, you should recharge it quickly. One problem that can occur is with the wifi network. You need to use 2.4ghz wifi channel. In case of any problem with the device, you can reset the device and set it up again.
